Our Arkansas Practice

Padgett's Arkansas practice operates out of the firm's fully-staffed Little Rock, AR location. PLG has been a market mover in Arkansas since the long-established local creditors' rights law firm, Dyke & Winzerling transitioned into Padgett in 2017. PLG offers comprehensive default services throughout the state, including foreclosure, evictions, title, title curative, litigation, bankruptcy, and REO.

Market Nuances

Padgett’s Arkansas practitioners are well-versed in the state’s non-judicial foreclosure process, which permits lenders to foreclose without court involvement, provided statutory requirements are strictly followed. This streamlined process offers a cost-effective and expedited path to foreclosure, unless the action is challenged. In such cases, Padgett’s Arkansas team is fully equipped to defend contested foreclosures and navigate the complexities of the local court system, including jurisdictional nuances and related bankruptcy proceedings.

While foreclosures in Arkansas are primarily non-judicial, there may be circumstances that dictate foreclosure through judicial means, such as in the Show Me case. Padgett’s team is also well-versed in handling judicial foreclosures in state or federal court to obtain marketable title from foreclosure and recoup on client assets via the judicial process in what may generally be a non-judicial state.

Padgett is uniquely positioned to deliver efficient, strategic, and results-oriented representation across the state of Arkansas. Whether managing high-volume portfolios, handling contested foreclosures, or addressing bankruptcy-related issues, our team is committed to protecting your interests at every stage of the process, statewide.
