This year we are awarding five brand-new employee recognition awards and giving away over $10,000 worth of raffles, prizes, and other goodies (or do we mean hoodies? Find out below!).
That's right. This December we're changing things up. Every office is still doing their holiday parties and potlucks. The ugly sweaters are welcome back and we certainly hope you'll decorate your offices and desks and digital backgrounds to get in the Holiday spirit. But, to change things up, we want to hear from our operational and legal teams to help us decide who deserves the five brand-new employee awards described below.
Tell us who is the Swiss Army Knife of your team, that person who can do anything; or who is your Calculator, the individual that solves every problem with ease; or do you have a new employee or new-to-you-team member who is a stand-out Rookie of the Year; or maybe you get to work with someone who has the most Padgett Passion in the entire firm - someone who lives, breathes, and shares our culture every day. Then, think carefully about the new Paul Harris Leadership Legacy Award and make a thoughtful nomination of an individual whom you believe exemplifies the traits of our dearly missed colleague, Paul Harris. If you didn't know him, learn about him below and share a nomination of an employee who you believe carries on his legacy.
To submit more than one nomination, hit submit and then come back here to access the link again and nominate another team member.

PAUL HARRIS LEADERSHIP LEGACY AWARD
This leadership award, given in honor of Paul Harris, a deeply loved and missed employee of PLG, is awarded annually to an outstanding team member who exhibits PLG's core values and leads with compassion, by example, and with grace. Paul Harris was a leader in the firm's Bankruptcy Department and those who had the pleasure of working with Paul remember well his style of compassionate, hands-on, and collaborative leadership.
"Paul was a builder. He would break down the need, build the process, and motivate our people to move the files. Losing Paul didn't just impact everyone who worked with him and loved him, but for those of us who can still see the fruits of his labor in PLG today, we miss everything he brought to our organization and our lives," says Evan Singer, VP of Enterprise.
It is the firm's great honor to remember Paul and keep his memory alive with the Leadership Legacy Award. Employees are encouraged to nominate a colleague who exhibits Paul's style of leadership and whom you believe is deserving of this recognition.
