DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATIONS
Please note that the comparison of the current version of Single Family Handbook 4000.1 and the Proposed Version was done utilizing comparison software. PLG did manually go through the handbooks as well for comparison. However, as there were so many changes, items may have been missed. Clients should note that FHA did not release a redline version of the proposed Handbook revisions and this analysis was done with the intention of capturing high-level, noteworthy proposed revisions. The comparative PDF analysis may not be comprehensive, and servicers are urged to conduct a thorough, in-house review of the proposed revisions as they relate to the servicer’s business and to seek legal advice from competent counsel of servicer’s choosing as needed. Questions related to the presentation can be directed to Marissa Yaker for clarification or further inquiry.
