Benjamin Ewing is the Managing Attorney of Risk Management for Padgett Law Group (PLG). In his role, Benjamin oversees quality assurance, quality control, training and vendor management across the firm’s footprint and nationwide networks.
Benjamin has been with PLG since 2015, helping open the firm’s Tampa office. Benjamin began his career as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida. Prior to joining the Padgett Law Group, Benjamin spent five years as a litigator and supervising attorney at another creditors’ rights law firm. Although Benjamin’s practice is primarily focused on compliance and risk management, he is also experienced in creditor’s rights litigation and has appeared in courtrooms all over the state of Florida.
Benjamin has been featured in publications and at industry events throughout his career.
Highlights include co-authoring “Municipal Lienholders Take Backseat” featured in DSNews in September 2013 and contributing to panels such as Servicing & Subservicing: Measuring Costs, Transfer & Loss Mitigation Best Practices during IMN Mortgage Servicing Rights Forum in 2019; Building a Winning Team at ALFN ANSWERS 2018; and Litigation Updates at the ALFN Teach Conference in 2016.
